The ground-level open space is organized around a series of horizontal design lines, with activity plazas located on both the eastern and western sides serving as focal gathering spaces. Flowering plants, shrubs, trees, and paving patterns radiate outward from these plazas, creating a seamless transition to the surrounding urban environment. This design also extends the greenery of the adjacent eastern park into the site, fostering a strong visual and ecological connection between the two spaces.

Along both Central Road to the south and New Taipei Boulevard to the north, nearly 20 meters of open space are provided to accommodate pedestrian flows from the nearby MRT station. Layered planting belts, arranged in harmony with the architectural rhythm, wrap the site with lush vegetation, allowing greenery to flow naturally through the landscape while providing comfortable shaded areas for rest and relaxation.

In consideration of local growing conditions, all major trees selected for the project are native to Taiwan. Camphor trees, Sweet Gum trees, Indian Rosewood, Chinaberry trees, and Taiwan Red Cypress are carefully arranged to create continuous shaded boulevards and distinctive landscape features. Shrub planting also emphasizes native species, combining foliage and flowering varieties to enrich seasonal interest and spatial character. Fragrant species such as jasmine add a subtle sensory dimension that enhances the overall environmental experience.

To improve the comfort and enjoyment of the open spaces, seating areas are placed beneath the shaded green corridors. Constructed primarily from durable natural stone and warm timber, with subtle accents of color, the furnishings contribute to a welcoming atmosphere while complementing the overall landscape design.
